Breast cancer is a significant global health issue, with early detection crucial for successful treatment. Breast self-examination (BSE) and mammography are key detection methods. However, many women lack confidence in performing BSE and may fear mammograms due to misconceptions about pain and exposure. A multimedia educational tool using a breast phantom and interactive elements has been developed to address these concerns. The tool significantly improved perceptions of BSE and mammography among participants, enhancing confidence and empowering women to make informed decisions about their breast health. This innovation aims to reduce avoidance of essential preventive care measures.
