The Solar-Enhanced Chicken Egg Incubator addresses the challenges faced by rural poultry farmers due to limited electricity access and the high cost of automated incubators. This project integrates solar energy and IoT technology to develop a cost-effective, reliable solution for maintaining optimal hatching conditions. The incubator leverages solar power as its primary energy source, reducing dependency on grid electricity while enhancing sustainability. IoT-based remote monitoring and control ensure precise regulation of temperature and humidity within the required ranges of 36.5–37.5°C and 50–70%, respectively. The system’s performance was validated through simulations and real-world tests, showing consistent maintenance of ideal conditions. This project offers a scalable, eco-friendly solution, aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to promote sustainable agriculture in off-grid communities.
