Sugarcane bagasse, the fibrous residue left after extracting juice, accounts for 30-40% of the harvested crop but is often discarded or burned, releasing methane, a potent greenhouse gas and contributing to land pollution. This project introduces PaperCane, a sustainable solution that converts bagasse into eco-friendly paper. As demand for greener alternatives grows, PaperCane offers an innovative way to repurpose agricultural waste. By utilizing bagasse, this study promotes sustainability and reduces environmental harm. Instead of being treated as waste, bagasse becomes a valuable resource, supporting conservation and minimizing waste in the paper industry. PaperCane presents a viable, eco-conscious alternative to conventional paper production.
