HS298: A Smart-Controlled Ankle Rehabilitation Device For Accessible And Personalizes Guided Therapy

Miss Peemnara Weladee Montfort College

Effective ankle rehabilitation requires systematic strength restoration. But normal physiotherapy demands frequent clinical visits, creating accessibility barriers. This project presents AnkleMate, a smart rehabilitation device designed for controlled therapy. The device employs a mechanical structure that assists guided dorsiflexion and plantarflexion exercises, which are controlled through an application. Four therapeutic modes—Athletic, Older Adult, Stretch, and Customized—deliver various movement intensities for diverse patient populations. AnkleMate provides a technologically viable solution for accessible, clinically sound ankle rehabilitation.
