MUHAMMAD ALAUDDIN NAFIS AKMAL SAIFUL UNIVERSITI SAINS ISLAM MALAYSIA

This research focuses on creating a high-speed and secure Li-Fi system using perovskite-based photodetectors. The system uses the underutilized visible light spectrum, which is 10,000 times wider than the radio spectrum, for ultra-fast data transfer rates and reducing spectrum congestion. The perovskite photodetectors improve system responsiveness and energy efficiency, making it suitable for smart city infrastructure and advanced educational settings. Li-Fi also offers data security benefits, as light can't permeate opaque materials, making it ideal for secure settings. The small-scale demonstration showcases the potential of Li-Fi technology in transforming wireless data transmission.
