US420: SMART MONITORING SLEEP APNEA INDICATORS USING BIOMEDICAL SENSORS AND ESP32

The Smart Sleep Apnoea Monitoring System with IoT is a new, cheap, and portable biomedical tool that makes it easier to find and keep an eye on sleep apnoea at home. The system is made to keep an eye on important physiological factors as you sleep, like blood oxygen saturation SpO2, heart rate, and breathing movement. These are all important signs of apnoea occurrences. The system can collect data in real time and interpret it intelligently based on pre-set safety limits by combining high-sensitivity biological sensors like the MAX30102 pulse oximeter and a flex sensor with the ESP32 microcontroller. The technology sends out both local alerts via a buzzer and OLED displayand remote notifications using a smartphone app using IoT platforms like Blynk as soon as it detects unusual patterns like low oxygen levels or breathing stops. Also, cloud-based integration lets users, carers, and healthcare professionals store data all the time, access it from anywhere, and keep an eye on their health over time. This lets them look at trends and take action before problems happen. This method gets over the problems of standard hospital-based polysomnography, which is typically too expensive, too complicated, and not available to a lot of people. The suggested system improves patient safety, encourages early detection of respiratory illnesses, and supports preventative healthcare practices by offering a monitoring option that is non-invasive, easy to use, and effective. The system is not meant to replace clinical diagnostic tools, but it is a reliable way to screen people. It has a lot of potential to be used widely in home care, elderly monitoring, and telehealth settings, which will ultimately improve quality of life and lower the risk of serious problems like heart disease and stroke.
