The development of the Indoor Environmental Workplace Risk Assessment (IEWRA) app, a simple yet efficient instrument for evaluating and tracking environmental hazards impacting employees' comfort, safety, and health in Malaysian SME workplaces, is presented in this paper. The app provides real-time risk assessments and compliance indicators that are in line with occupational safety regulations by evaluating important indoor factors including temperature, noise level, lighting, and air quality. Through easily accessible and data-driven environmental assessment, IEWRA provides a workable solution to support proactive risk management, helping to promote safer and healthier work environments in light of the difficulties SMEs confront as a result of scarce resources and lax regulatory compliance.
