GeoMist UV is an innovative mineral-based facial mist formulated from purified groundwater and enriched with UV-activated ingredients for daily skincare use. This study evaluates both the safety and efficacy of the product by analyzing the chemical composition of its groundwater source and testing its sun protection factor (SPF) using standardized UV spectrophotometry methods.

The groundwater used in GeoMist UV was collected from a certified clean well and analyzed for heavy metal content. Results confirmed that levels of lead (Pb), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), and mercury (Hg) were significantly below the safety limits set by the World Health Organization (WHO). This verifies that the groundwater is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and suitable for cosmetic use.

Additionally, in vitro SPF testing revealed that GeoMist UV offers low to moderate sun protection which help absorb UV rays and reduce skin damage. The combination of groundwater safety analysis and functional SPF performance supports the claim that GeoMist UV is a safe, non-toxic, and eco-conscious skincare product, ideal for daily use in tropical climates. This innovation demonstrates how natural local resources can be transformed into high-value cosmetic solutions with both scientific validation and market appeal.
