ABSTRACT

NEURO-WAVE is an innovative Radio Frequency (RF) energy harvesting system designed to recycle "waste" electromagnetic waves (4G, 5G, Wi-Fi) into usable electrical energy. This project addresses the issue of ambient RF energy waste in urban environments and public concern regarding high-frequency radiation exposure for those living near telecommunication towers. As a Proof of Concept (PoC), the device is developed in the form of a smartphone case prototype featuring fractal copper foil antennas and high-sensitivity rectifier circuits. The primary objective is to demonstrate that RF energy can be harvested passively and stored efficiently. The novelty lies in its dual-functionality as 'Green Shielding', which absorbs harmful radiation while simultaneously generating power. This innovation has vast commercial potential to be scaled into home wall panels that channel energy into a centralized 'PowerBox' storage unit. The future vision of NEURO-WAVE is to provide free electricity for domestic use and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations harvested entirely from surrounding signal waste. The impact of this innovation includes sustainable clean energy and enhanced digital health safety for society.The core novelty of NEURO-WAVE lies in its dual-mechanism as a 'Green Shielding' solution; it acts as a protective barrier by intercepting harmful radiation while simultaneously converting that radiation into a sustainable power source. Beyond the prototype, this system offers immense commercial scalability. It is designed to be implemented as large-scale residential wall panels that channel harvested energy into a centralized 'PowerBox' storage unit.The ultimate vision of NEURO-WAVE is to revolutionize domestic energy consumption by providing a supplementary, 24/7 autonomous power source for smart home sensors, emergency lighting, and eventually, a specialized infrastructure for Electric Vehicle (EV) trickle-charging. By bridging the gap between digital health safety and sustainable energy, NEURO-WAVE provides a transformative solution for the smart cities of tomorrow, aligning with global shifts toward circular economies and clean technology.
