Teachers’ observations indicate that weaker Form 6 students struggle with MUET Speaking Task 1 due to low English proficiency, and reluctance to participate. A pre-test confirmed that lack of language skills was the main problem. Fifteen students who scored below 10 marks were selected as participants. The study introduced TALKBOOST, a Telegram voice-message tool, to improve students’ content, language, and communication skills. Quantitative and qualitative data were collected through tests, questionnaires, and digital interviews. Comparisons of Pre-Test, Post-Test 1, and Post-Test 2 results showed improvement in 10 students, who reported greater confidence, and more willingness to participate in speaking tasks.
