This project presents AIoRe 5.0, an intelligent recycling management system that integrates artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and solar energy to improve recycling efficiency. The system uses a hybrid approach combining ultrasonic sensors and AI-based computer vision to monitor recycling cage fill levels and detect overflow conditions in real time. Collected data are transmitted to a cloud-based dashboard for live monitoring, automated alerts, and optimized collection scheduling. The fully solar-powered design enables energy autonomy and sustainable operation. Experimental results demonstrate reliable detection accuracy and improved route efficiency, reducing unnecessary collection trips and operational costs while supporting sustainable waste management practices.
