The objective of this innovation is to evaluate the effectiveness of the "PFE" mnemonic in enhancing students' skills and performance in solving integration problems, specifically in the subtopic of 2.3 Techniques of Integration. A survey involving over 50 students revealed that 56.1% struggled with integration, with 48% finding subtopic 2.3 the most difficult. The primary issue identified was difficulty in applying the correct formulas. The PFE method, which stands for Pigeon, Falcon, Eagle, was developed to address this challenge by providing a structured approach to selecting the appropriate integration technique. This mnemonic simplifies the learning process through visual and logical associations, making it easier for students to recall and apply the correct formulas. Data was collected through student surveys, observations, and performance analysis before and after using the PFE method. The findings indicate that the PFE mnemonic significantly improves students' problem-solving abilities and confidence in integration. Positive student testimonials further support the effectiveness of this approach. In conclusion, the PFE mnemonic serves as a valuable learning tool in mastering integration techniques and offers an engaging alternative to traditional teaching methods.
