The Eco Guard project at SJKT Jalan Setesyen Paloh aims to promote environmental sustainability and awareness among students by introducing eco-friendly practices. One key initiative of the project is the preparation of natural pesticides using onion peels, garlic peels, chilies, vinegar, and water. This initiative provides a safe and effective alternative to chemical pesticides, helping to protect school gardens while minimizing harm to the environment. Through hands-on activities, students learn to recycle kitchen waste into useful products, develop environmental responsibility, and gain practical knowledge of organic gardening. The project not only fosters ecological awareness but also encourages teamwork, creativity, and leadership skills among pupils, contributing to a greener and healthier school environment.
