Malaysia faces floods almost every year. People in certain areas are affected and exposed in some states. Most of the people affected include senior citizens and disabled persons. The difficulty in mobility and lack of access to safety aids. This cannot be practically done depending on human strength, environmental risks, or resource constraints. The product innovation, named Community Floating Sling Raft (RATK), is a modular transport system that is environmentally friendly and has been designed to transport senior citizens or disabled victims safely. RATK is considered a recycled plastic drum used as support by using a pontoon, which creates a sling fabric on strong frames that can support the minimum weight pressure, enable floating, and safe to be used during the rescue. The objectives of this project are to provide low-cost mobility transport for the community, especially senior citizens and disabled persons, to increase preparedness, to reduce the weight burden, and to support any responses in facing any disaster-flood issues. Project uniqueness is achieved by using the concept of hammock styles combined with a strong platform made with recycled items. It can be used quickly without specialized equipment. For adjustability, it can be used in environmental households, communities, and institutions. It benefits on people evacuation, enabling local action, and supporting sustainability by reusing items.  International and local support research is needed to cover weaknesses for senior citizens and disabled persons. This idea covers the gap in terms of response rescue infrastructure and offers a replicable model for comprehensive hardiness.
