The widespread use of the laundry system application among communities have demonstrated their potential in laundry’s payment management, yet the app remains limited to payment-only functions. This project aims to develop a brand new laundry e-booking system called WashUp to let users make a booking and have better experience in the queue for using the laundry services, making improvements for long-term customer retention, letting any users from different races to understand the system and managing the backend operations, the users’ accounts and laundry analytics. The current application's limitations, including payment-only functions, a lack of support for users from different races, hinder the user experience and long-term customer retention. The study applies e-marketing and e-CRM concepts with the programming languages like HTML, Javascript, CSS, React.js, PHP and MySQL to develop a prototype for rapid prototyping and continuous improvement by incorporating iterative stakeholder feedback. Usability testing will be conducted with target users to assess navigation efficiency, accessibility, and satisfaction. Preliminary findings indicate that integrating real-time machine dashboard, machine booking and reservations, e marketing and e-CRM system, user profile management and multi-language support and admin control panel module. The proposed laundry e-booking system, WashUp will be a sustainable digital laundry platform supporting the communities’ long-term convenience objectives and user-friendly.
