The Simple Integrated Hazard Risk Assessment (SiHRA) Tool is an innovative solution designed to simplify and improve workplace hazard identification and risk assessment practices, especially in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This tool enables users to identify potential workplace hazards, assess the severity and likelihood of risks, and recommend control measures using a structured, user-friendly format. SiHRA is tailored to meet the needs of industries with limited resources and knowledge in occupational safety, promoting shared responsibility between employers and workers. Aligned with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and its 2022 amendments, SiHRA supports compliance and proactive risk management. The tool has been tested in selected SME sectors, showing positive results in improving hazard awareness and preventive action.
