ABSTRACT
This study aims to produce a facial refreshing spray made from corn husk, known as a face mist. The development of this product is intended to address problems associated with mature skin due to the function of its main ingredient, which is found to slow down the signs of facial aging, particularly among adult women. In this study, the researcher will explain in greater detail the project that has been developed, beginning with identifying the problems encountered and exploring the potential to relate these issues to the research objectives achieved through the production of this product.There are many beauty products on the market that contain excessive chemical ingredients and neglect the importance of using an effective face mist. In general, this study aims to produce a face mist based on corn husk that will be used by women aged between 25 and 35 years. To examine customer satisfaction levels, the researcher explains the aspects that influence the effectiveness of the product on users by employing both quantitative and qualitative methods. Through the use of these two methods, the study is able to measure affordable pricing and evaluate the effectiveness of the product based on respondents’ feedback.After improvements were made to the product, the researcher distributed questionnaires and collected testimonials in order to observe changes after using Zea Mays (corn husk) Face Mist. A total of 30 respondents were directly involved in this study. The findings are presented in the form of score tables and percentages along with their interpretations. These findings can help attract interest from the community outside Kolej Vokasional Tawau to use Zea Mays (corn husk) Face Mist and further strengthen the development of this product for commercial market potential.
