This research focuses on evaluating tree-ring perimeters using a distance-based equation to improve understanding historical climatic conditions. Tree rings serve as vital indicators for reconstructing past climates; however, estimating their circumferences can be challenging, particularly in irregularly shaped formations. By assigning coordinates to key points and modelling them as a weighted graph, the perimeter is calculated from the total edge values. The study evaluates weighting methods using Euclidean distance across varying coordinate dimensions. A specially developed application enhances the process by simplifying data input and delivering precise outcomes. The findings have diverse applications in dendrochronology and ecological research.
