JS219: SHAVINGS-TO-SPROUTS

DHAANNYA A/P KEASEVEN SJK (T) PUCHONG

This project explores a creative and sustainable way to repurpose pencil shavings by transforming them into seed bombs using recycled paper and plant seeds. Designed for school children, the project encourages eco-friendly practices and hands-on learning about plant growth and environmental conservation. The biodegradable nature of pencil shavings makes them an ideal material for seed bombs, promoting greenery while reducing classroom waste. This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), Goal 13 (Climate Action), and Goal 15 (Life on Land), fostering a sense of responsibility and environmental awareness among young learners.
