US417: ElecSAR: FUTURE-READY ELECTRONICS LEARNING

ElecSAR is an innovative mobile application that leverages Simulation Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance practical learning in electronics. Developed using the Design and Development Research (DDR) with input from 15 research experts, the app offers an immersive interactive learning experience that simulates the assembly and operation of three core electronic projects: a traffic light system, an automatic sensor-controlled lamp, and an automatic fan. ElecSAR integrates a real-time AR camera function to recognize and superimpose circuit components, enabling spatially enriched, hands-on learning experiences. Each learning subtopic is also supported with interactive, mind-challenging quizzes to reinforce understanding and self-assessment. This innovation empowers students with intuitive understanding, practical circuit skills, and engagement with future-ready technology in STEM education.
