The Vision X Smart Helmet is a conceptual smart helmet with a safety system developed to combat Malaysia's issue of motorcycle fatalities, which represent more than 60% of all road deaths. Standard helmets merely offer passive physical protection and do not include proactive features to help avoid collisions. This project seeks to improve rider safety and awareness via an AI-powered co-pilot that combines Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, and Internet of Things technologies. Its primary aims are to identify potential hazards in real time, decrease accidents resulting from human error, raise awareness about helmet certification and safety riding habits. Vision X Smart Helmet is distinctive due to its AI Co-Pilot System, which provides real-time object detection, an Augmented Reality Head-Up Display, and an Auto SOS function that automatically sends GPS location after an impact. It aims to get a certification by SIRIM and adheres to the Road Transport Act 1987, promoting both safety and legal adherence. Possessing strong commercial potential, Vision X Smart Helmet is aimed at delivery riders, everyday commuters, and enforcement bodies throughout Malaysia and other ASEAN markets. In conclusion, Vision X reimagines motorcycle safety through AI and AR integration, creating an intelligent, compliant, and connected riding experience for a safer global community.
