Virtual Booth

This project presents a Smart Attendance Face Recognition System, a mobile application that automates classroom attendance using facial recognition technology. Lecturers capture classroom images, which are processed through the Face++ API to identify registered students and record attendance in a MySQL database. Developed using Flutter and Python, the system reduces manual workload, minimises errors and mitigates proxy attendance. It supports user authentication, student enrolment and report generation with role based access control. While accuracy may be affected by facial obstructions, manual updates are supported. The system demonstrates the potential of biometric technologies to enhance efficiency and support digital transformation in educational institutions.
