This project presents sCO^2 NEXTGEN, a waterless thermal management system for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers utilizing supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO^2) as a direct replacement for conventional water-based cooling. Current AI cooling infrastructure relies on water spray evaporation to dissipate heat from high-performance chips, resulting in significant freshwater consumption, elevated ambient humidity, and continuous water loss. Supercritical carbon dioxide operates above it's critical point (31°C, 7.38 MPa), exhibiting liquid-like density for efficient heat absorption and gas-like viscosity for rapid, non-clogging flow within a closed-loop configuration. Unlike water spray system, scCO^2 cooling eliminates evaporative loss, humidity generation, and dependency on freshwater. The solution targets Malaysia's expanding AI data center sector, where rapid infrastructure growth intersects with increasing water stress. Comparative thermodynamics analysis, commercial viability assessment, and environmental impact evaluation demonstrate scCO^2, as scalable, sustainable alternative for next generation AI cooling.
