The overuse of chemical herbicides and poor labor-intensive management of weeds harm the soil health, water systems, biodiversity, and human health. These raise the cost of labor and risk safety hazards. In solving these issues, this project introduces Herbibot, a smart, fully automated herbicide spraying robot which is engineered to detect and precisely spray herbicide on common weeds in Malaysia. With integrated AI object detection, Herbibot locates weed position, delivers its coordinates, and applies spot spraying so as to reduce chemical usage and human labour. Tests showed it had more than 80 percent weed detection accuracy and could spray a weed with precision at 20 seconds a shot. Indeed, this offers increased productivity while reducing environmental impact, health risks, and operation costs. The success of Herbibot underlines its potential to be integrated into sustainable agricultural practices. The future enhancements will include IoT-based monitoring systems for remote operation and data collection.
