Geo Learn Lab: Sustainable Construction Innovation Through Hybrid Geopolymer Mortar Learning Kit is an innovative teaching and learning platform designed to translate advanced material research into meaningful classroom practice. Developed from doctoral research on hybrid geopolymer mortar incorporating ceramic waste powder (CWP) and silica fume, this innovation introduces students to sustainable construction materials through experiential and research based learning. The project addresses limitations of conventional teaching methods that often emphasize theory with limited practical exposure to green technology and circular economy applications. Geo Learn Lab integrates a physical laboratory kit, guided experimental modules, and digital learning resources that enable students to produce eco friendly mortar specimens, evaluate curing conditions, and analyze mechanical and durability performance. Through this approach, learners gain practical understanding of material science, waste valorization, low carbon construction, and laboratory testing procedures. The innovation promotes active learning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary knowledge relevant to engineering, architecture, and built environment programs. In addition, it supports national sustainability agendas and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education, responsible consumption, industry innovation, and climate action. Geo Learn Lab demonstrates strong potential for wider adoption in universities, polytechnics, and TVET institutions due to its affordable, scalable, and replicable design. By transforming waste into educational value, this innovation bridges research, sustainability, and pedagogy in a practical learning eco system.
