This study explores Treated Recycled Palm Oil (TRPO) as a sustainable alternative to conventional cutting fluids in Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) machining. TRPO was developed through cleaning, recycling, and treatment processes, then tested for viscosity and tribological performance using a 4-ball tester. Its performance was compared with new palm oil, sunflower oil, and Coolube 2210EP. Results showed TRPO exhibited stable frictional behavior, comparable to bio-based oils. While Coolube 2210EP showed the lowest friction torque due to specialized additives, TRPO demonstrates potential as an eco-friendly option. Further research is needed to optimize its treatment and machining performance.
