The inability to memorize the qunut prayer is a challenge faced by some Muslims, especially among children, converts and adult Muslims who do not have a formal Islamic education background. This can affect confidence and devotion in performing the Subuh prayer. Therefore, this innovation introduces QUNUT-MAT, a smart prayer mat designed as a contextual and inclusive learning support tool for learning the qunut prayer. QUNUT-MAT uses a visual approach and step-by-step learning to help users read and remember the qunut prayer during prayer without disrupting the manners of worship. This low-cost innovation has the potential to increase confidence and support the preservation of Muslim worship practices globally.
