Medispherix is a student-built IoT-enabled automatic medicine dispenser addressing medication non-adherence among elderly patients managing multiple daily prescriptions. Built on a Micro:bit V2 microcontroller within a custom FDM 3D-printed enclosure, the device automatically dispenses medication on caregiver-configured schedules and instantly delivers dual-channel alerts via Blynk and Telegram upon every dispense event, requiring no patient action. Validated through a 50-cycle stress test achieving 100% dispensing reliability and a 72-hour unsupervised home deployment with a real elderly participant, yielding 12 of 12 on-schedule doses and a 4.6 out of 5.0 satisfaction score, all at a total hardware cost of RM 243.50.
