EcoHair Fertilizer is an organic solid fertilizer developed using hair waste combined with selected biodegradable materials to promote sustainable agriculture and waste reduction. The fertilizer is formulated from ground human hair as a nitrogen source, powdered eggshells for calcium, ground banana peels for potassium, and Epsom salt as a magnesium supplement. A small amount of Effective Microorganisms (EM) solution is applied to support controlled microbial activity.
The production process involves solid-state fermentation in an airtight container for four weeks, allowing gradual decomposition and nutrient stabilization without converting the mixture into liquid form. After fermentation, the product is dried and processed into a fine powder, resulting in a slow-release organic fertilizer suitable for soil application.
