This study aims to develop and evaluate an AI-assisted interactive animated video based on the “Talking Objects” concept to enhance students’ understanding of the mechanism of heartbeat, aligned with the Malaysian Matriculation Biology syllabus. The video explains key processes, including impulse initiation at the SA node, transmission to the AV node, and coordination by the Bundle of His and Purkinje fibres. The ADDIE model guides development, integrating AI-generated animation, narration, and interactivity. A quantitative approach using pre- and post-tests and questionnaires is employed. Findings are expected to show improved understanding and engagement, highlighting the potential of AI-based videos as effective teaching tools.
