Synthetic chemical disinfectants increase skin irritation, hazardous exposure, and environmental pollution.Therefore, FenuXtract is an herbal disinfectant developed to address this issue. The invention is composed of an extract from fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) seeds and tea tree oil. Antimicrobial flavonoids and phenolics from different fenugreek seeds concentrations were extracted at 100% methanol. The agar diffusion method was applied to evaluate the antibacterial effectiveness of each concentration by measuring the zone of inhibition. Tea tree oil increases antibacterial activity and prolongs product stability. This technology aligns with SDG targets 12 and 13, being both antibacterial and biodegradable, dermally compatible, and economically viable.
