In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought immense challenges to Malaysia and the world. With over 2 million cases and 31,000 deaths in Malaysia alone, it reshaped daily life globally. Despite the adversity, it inspired narratives like the "Amukan Covid-19" Graphic Novel, depicting real-life experiences such as quarantine struggles, online education, and remote work challenges. These stories, defying standard procedures, aim to entertain and engage readers, especially children, through concise and captivating storytelling accompanied by graphic illustrations. The novel, a collaboration between authors and Graphic Art Diploma students from UiTM Kedah Branch, spans 367 pages and is available nationwide through Shopee and UUM Press at RM70, marking a creative response to the pandemic's impact.
