Salacca Zalacca is a tropical Indonesian fruit known as snake fruit. However, lack of awareness among locals about the wastes contribute negative impacts to the environment. By utilizing the antioxidants content in snake fruit peel waste, we made natural skincare product that has been trending topics these days, anti-aging eye cream, ZALEYEC. Our purposes are to know the extraction process of snake fruit peels, and ZALEYEC making, and how ZALEYEC can reduce premature aging. This research is carried out by making formulations of snake fruit peel extract cream gel with CMC-Na-based. Various tests are conducted, such as flavonoids and tannins presence, organoleptic, sensitivity, absorbance, pH, and viscosity testing. Results indicate that ZALEYEC contains flavonoids and tannins, which based on science-research are 124.9 mg/g cathecin and 63 mg/g catechin, has good physical appearance, pH of 5, no allergic ingredients, and absorbs readily to skin with viscosity standart between 2000-50.000 cps.
