In the educational sphere, technology has become indispensable, providing a wide array of tools and resources that elevate both the teaching and learning experiences. Previous study indicated that although a wide range of digital tools and applications have been developed, professional or pedagogical adaptations and components for digital education remain inadequate, particularly for physical education teachers who are mostly field-based educators. By adapting the European Framework of Digital Competency of Educators, this is the first module designed for Malaysian physical education teachers to enhance their skills in integrating digital technology into physical education lessons with the assistance of Artificial Intelligence applications. The EdutechPJTM aims to provide secondary physical education teachers in Malaysia with an introduction and detailed description of a digital competency module in promoting technology applications during the lesson. Based on the framework, the module is divided into six areas: professional engagement, digital resources, teaching and learning with artificial intelligence, empowering learners and facilitating learners’ digital competence. This module incorporates collaborative learning methodologies along with adaptation of Boyatzis Competency and Connectivism Theory. The module content is showcased through the use of technology. Additionally, formative assessments and activities covering Artificial Intelligence (AI) are included in each area. To determine its efficacy, the module also includes a summative assessment. In an attempt to increase teachers' digital competency in integrating technology into traditional classroom instruction, the EdutechPJTM can serve as a reference for teachers, trainers, educational organizations and related agencies.
