In today's world, the sad and concerning reports of babies and young kids accidentally being left alone in hot cars by their caregivers keep surprising and upsetting us. Unfortunately, many of these incidents lead to the tragic loss of young lives due to heatstroke. Understanding the urgent need to address this distressing issue, we have created an advanced device that aims to revolutionize child safety in hot vehicles. In response to the distressing frequency of child and pet deaths in hot vehicles, Rescue emerges as a portable and lightweight device designed to combat the Forgotten Baby Syndrome. Employing DS18B20 Temperature, PIR, and Sound sensors, Rescue detects dangerous conditions within vehicles, triggering an alarm and sending an SMS alert via a GSM Shield to parents or guardians. The device underwent rigorous testing with promising results showing that it is able to recognize and alert the parents of the possible dangers regarding their children in a hot vehicle (Results). Future enhancements include transitioning to C or C++ coding, exploring convolutional neural networks, and adopting Natrium-Ion batteries for an extended lifespan. Rescue holds the potential to save lives and is not limited to private vehicles but extends its impact to buses, vans, and taxis and a wider range of transports. Our innovation reflects a strong commitment to making sure that no more precious lives are unintentionally put in danger in this risky situation. With thorough research, advanced technology, and thoughtful design, our device acts as a reliable guardian, actively preventing the accidental leaving of children in overheated cars. Our goal is to protect the most vulnerable members of our society and put an end to these heartbreaking tragedies.
