Have you ever performed your Solat and suddenly forget what Rakaat you have performed and confused about whether you are in the third Rakaat or fourth Rakaat? Every prayer that we perform must be performed perfectly so that the prayer performed is accepted by Allah SWT. However, when we pray, some of us may forget Rakaat in prayer due to negligence and not concentrating fully when worshipping. Smart Digital Sutrah is a device that was invented to be able to count Rakaat in the prayer. Smart Digital Sutrah device is an aid for concentration in your prayers. Simply place the Sutrah in front of you while performing your prayer. The device will track both your prostration count and your Rakaat count. Once you have completed your prayer, just tap the reset button. This project focuses on how combining the Sutrah and electronics components is hoped to solve the problem faced by most people which is that they often forget the Rakaat while doing the Solat. This project resulting in the development of a prototype device called the Smart Digital Sutrah that can help in improving the daily prayers of a Muslim.
