As technologies progress towards 5G and 6G networks, the number of connected devices will rise drastically, and the data rates for various devices and applications could vary significantly. Integrating various waveforms into a synchronized system creates a significant challenge. This research utilized FBMC as a multi-carrier modulation in the system. Despite being one of the most promising waveforms, FBMC suffers from high levels of complexity and intersymbol interference (ISI). To address this issue, an additional multiplication method (AMM) has been proposed at the transmitter part to help FBMC perform with less complexity. The complexity will be determined by the amount of time required to execute the algorithm. A lower running time indicates less complexity. A sequence of adaptive algorithms (ECLS) is implemented in the receiver section to minimize ISI caused by multipath. The proposed method has shown that it can reduce complexity and interference in FBMC wireless communication systems.
