ABSTRACT The semi-manual use of confetti machines in the inauguration process or performance gimmick at school or an event has not yet been widely used even though it is use has long been applied in the surprise and inauguration sector. The purpose of this study is to solve problems that are often faced by others and users such as program organizers who often think about whether it is necessary to hold a paper explosion gimmick because of it is relatively expensive cost or it is large size and it is difficult to control and carry it everywhere. This study was conducted at Besut Vocational College. The total sample of the study is a total of 100 students consisting of students at Besut Vocational College. Data collection is done by using a set of questionnaires. The result of the data analysis show that the respondents agree on the appropriateness of the semi-manual use of the confetti machine applied for the opening ceremony and performance at the Besut Vocational College.
